These head blocks are sold in pairs with the chin strap included. They are extremely durable and are the strongest in the industry. They will not break when the board is dropped, like other blocks in the industry. These are far superior to every other block, and one pair of blocks will last many seasons. The KEMP Pediatric Spineboard is 100% X-Ray Translucent and is a must for camps and schools where there are children. We can’t stress this enough, but a pediatric spineboard is extremely important around pools and any area with many children because they normally get hurt while playing roughly. This aluminum scoop stretcher is used specifically for moving injured people. It is most commonly used to lift victims who may have a potential spinal cord injury from the ground, or in order to reduce the chance of undesirable movement of injured areas during the transfer of a patient. The Kemp USA scoop stretcher has a structure that separates into two vertical parts that go on either side of the victim. An open center permits the patient to be X-rayed while remaining immobilized on the stretcher.
