There is a newly established lifeguard and lifeguard instructor certification program available from World Academy of Safety & Health (WASH). The new program is focused on flexibility, affordability, and accessibility without sacrificing the quality of training delivered.
The program includes training and certification in: pool lifeguarding, waterfront lifeguarding, waterpark lifeguarding, surf rescue, lifeguard instructor, and lifeguard supervision. There are also optional services available to WASH Instructors and WASH Authorized Training Centers (ATC’s) which include: RISC Audit Program; Bi-Annual Aquatics Academies; and a Scholarship Program designed for those unable to afford tuition for lifeguard certification and training.
The program is currently available in select areas (and states) throughout the USA as well as in many international locations to include areas of Europe, Asia, the Pacific Rim, and the Caribbean. World Academy of Safety & Health (WASH) continues working to add approvals and recognitions of the program throughout the United States.
